هدفها «غزوة» المساحات السوداء القاسية وتحويلها الى مساحات ملوّنة مضيئة، هي مبادرة شبابيّة تجمع فنّانين ورسّامين ومتطوّعين لبنانييّن يعملون «لونا» واحدا تحت اسم I Leaf Art. وجهتهم الأخيرة كانت مؤسسة بيت الرجاء في الكحّالة.
هي ليست زيارتهم الأولى للمكان، فشباب I Leaf Art يعرفون بيت الرجاء جيّدا. هنا أمضوا ساعات يلوّنون حيطان غرفتين كانت شاحبة اللون لتعيش على أيديهم. رسموا على أحد الحيطان بالأصفر طفلا يقرأ كتابا في ظلّ شجرة وهو يراقب مغيب الشمس برفقة الطيور. رسموا هدوءا وسلاما وأملا، أهدوها الى أطفال بيت الرجاء، أطفال أيتام او لا يملكون أوراقا ثبوتيّة او يعرفون بأطفال الشوارع.
في هذا البيت كانت مبادرة الشباب زاهية اللون. يتحدّث مدير بيت الرجاء ماهر طبراني (المعروف ببابا ماهر) لـ«الأخبار» عن «تغيير لمسه عند الأطفال الذين كان لونهم المفضّل الأسود بحيث أصبحوا يعبّرون برسومات ألوانها زاهية وذلك بعد لقاءات عديدة مع المجموعة».
هذا بالضبط ما يؤمن به شباب I Leaf Art. تقول الشابّة سولانج الهيبي، مطلقة المبادرة الشبابيّة، إنّ الهدف منها «جمع الشباب من فنّانين ورسامين وغيرهم من مختلف المناطق اللبنانيّة فضلا عن لبنانييّن يعيشون في الخارج، من أجل تحويل الأماكن السوداء المظلمة الى أماكن ملوّنة بواسطة الرسوم والغرافيتي والتصاميم الملوّنة». تعمل المجموعة في الأماكن العامّة والمهمّشة، في السجون، في المدارس والمياتم ودور العجزة وغيرها، تحوّل ألوان حيطانها الباهتة الى «ألوان تعكس الأمل بغد أحلى». وتقول الهيبي «أردنا من خلال تجربتنا في بيت الرجاء أن نعطي الأطفال جرعة من الحياة، أن نلوّن نظرهم بما يؤثّر ايجابا على نفسيّتهم».
تضمّ المجموعة حتّى الآن نحو 20 شابّا، بدأت عملها منذ عام، نفّذت عددا من المشاريع والنشاطات في شوارع النبعة، في المخيّمات، في مدارس تابعة للانروا... وتعمل المجموعة مع جمعيّات مختلفة. تشاركت نشاطها الأخير في بيت الرجاء مع فرقة Segundo Bloco (التابعة لجمعيّة Filhos de Bimba - Lebanon) حيث لوّنت هذه الأخيرة الجوّ على طريقتها من خلال فرقة موسيقيّة برازيليّة الهوى عزفت للحياة بأنامل تدفئ القلوب وتبعث فيها الحياة. نسيب الخوري المسؤول عن الجمعيّة قال لـ«الأخبار» انّ العمل الفنّي والموسيقى يكملان بعضهما البعض، مشيرا الى أنّ الجمعيّة تضمّ لبنانيين وبرازيليين يتقنون الفنّ الأفريقيّ ــ البرازيليّ وينظّمون النشاطات الثقافيّة من أجل تعزيز ثقافة السلام بين الجماعات اللبنانيّة، كما تعمل على تعليم الأطفال المهمّشين الموسيقى وفنون القتال البرازيليّة Capoeira. وبعد تعرّفها على أطفال بيت الرجاء ستكون الجمعيّة حاضرة لجعل الموسيقى أقرب اليهم من الأفكار السوداء التي تجول في بالهم.
في بيت الرجاء اجتمع الأطفال تحت أقواس الألوان، رقصوا، غنّوا، حصلوا على هدايا ملوّنة والأهمّ أنّهم عاشوا طفولتهم كما يتمنّون دوما. «نريدهم أن يفكّروا خارج العلبة وأن يحلموا» تقول الهيبي.
الشابة هيفا ساحلي تفخر بأنّها من المجموعة، هي تريد تحويل صور الحرب الى حياة. «لدينا الكثير لإنجازه» تقول بحماسة. هي الحماسة عينها التي تتحدّث فيها يارا رزق الله. ترى أنّ ما تقوم به الجمعيّة يشبهها، هي مغرمة بالألوان وترى فيها فرصة لتفرح القلوب. «احساس حلو» يريد ايلي عاصي أن يشعر به الأطفال وهم يرسمون أو ينظرون الى الرسوم الملوّنة. يريد عاصي بمشاركة المجموعة توسيع مجال العمل ليشمل أطفالا كثيرين. وردّا على سؤال «هل يمكنكم تلوين البرلمان؟» ردّ عاصي «نريد أن نزرع الشجر ونرسم الشجر ونغنّي للحياة»، هو لا يريد أن يدخل السياسة في كلّ ذلك. زميلته لينان صبّاغ تعقّب على كلامه وتقول «لا نريد أن نلون البرلمان، يمكن أن نلوّن قلوب من في داخله!» أمل كبير يرافق المجموعة والهيبي تحلم بعدم التوقّف، بالوصول الى الأماكن الأكثر سوادا في لبنان، بتلوين الحيطان والشوارع والأماكن المغلقة، بتلوين العالم كلّه.

Carrying a Torch for Hope

Where does a grueling run become a three-day party? Lebanon, of course, where this year’s Beirut marathon featured dabke, salsa, hip hop, and tango, along with a remarkable performance of public art.

Runners pushing through the race’s final meters were met not with corporate logos and commercial banners but with hand-made signs; over the gathering area, a glowing mural bore homage to Lebanon and the race’s theme, “Run for a cause”.

This celebration was orchestrated by “I Leaf Art“, an arts movement dedicated to brightening the walls of underprivileged and decrepit areas with murals, graffiti and illustrations, in collaboration with the Beirut Marathon Association. Volunteer artists helped attendees—adults and children—to create their own posters championing individual runners and causes, while graffiti artist Zed, aka Eli Zaarour, painted the vivid 5.8 x 2.8m mural as a live performance.

“We need to concentrate on the lively, colorful aspects that illuminate different causes, away from materialism,” says I Leaf Art co-founder Solange Al-Heybé, “and Lebanon needs to seize more hope through their supporters.”

Together for Women’s Access to Justice

A one-day public art event used a live graffiti performance (by Eli Zaarour, visual and graffiti artist) to blazon a call for women’s rights. “Together for Women’s Access to Justice“, which took place on November 2 in Bourj Hammoud, featured the creation of a mural lionizing women’s legal empowerment for the residents of Nabaa. Attendees were invited to participate by drawing and writing “their visions, their beliefs, and their own perceptions of women’s rights.”

Organized by “Justice Without Frontiers” and “I Leaf Art“, an arts community that turns neglected public spaces into magical, colorful ones, the art day forms part of a campaign advocating for greater legal coverage for women. Co-sponsored by Oxfam and funded by Sida, the initiative provides free legal advice and counseling to both women victims of violence and those enmeshed in legal conflicts. It also aims to increase legal literacy among women while building partnerships with local communityleaders, religious and political parties, and NGOs so that within this framework, new strategies to guarantee women’s achievement of justice can be realized.

Here I come running, longing for it!

“I suddenly find myself seeing a sweet dream and come running to the room, longing for it”. This was the most grateful expression we've ever heard, coming out from a seven year old girl we had met at Home of Hope - Kahaleh.

Going back to the beginning, where our journey as “I Leaf Art” began at Home of Hope in Kahaleh, few weeks ago, as we decided to celebrate the holy month of Ramadan with the children in the boys’ dormitory. The brightness of the sunlight reflection and the last summer whiff at dusk were all leaving behind an eternal ochre shade portrait of a sumptuous young boy over a peaceful hill holding a book in his hand.

That day, the eyes of the young boys were full of dreams and visions of a successful and hopeful future. We taught them how to integrate colors and they excelled in providing their own combinations on papers they proudly carried to their rooms as personal rewarding gifts.

We were overwhelmed with happiness we’ve never felt before. That holiday gift was the most valuable that we could ever offer to those boys. From here, our second visit to the Home of Hope stemmed from an inner desire but this time we targeted the girls’ dormitory.

This time we chose a world of sparks and glittery stars submerged with wishes and dreams, sowing hope of life in everyone's eyes. We formed an integrated beehive with girls of various ages. Some of them were abbreviating the luster of retouching while others were learning the sponge techniques in drawing. Other boys and girls gathered around us, trying to imagine the painting we planned to offer to the girls this time.

This fun activity mobilized the whole team in a defiance to create the most beautiful painting in the floor. But they all shared in the midst of joy how to express this feeling in words. Personally, we felt quite satisfied with the words of that young girl and the spontaneity of another girl who was forced to leave, eager to hug us all one by one using her childish body to express gratitude and joy.

Home of Hope overwhelmed us with kindness and insisted on gathering us with the girls and boys for lunch. We went back home, leaving them a painting of a girl carrying a balloon, wandering gracefully in a moon dripping crystalline sky.

This work has been really a dream we all run to, when longing to the painting souvenirs to re-enjoy the delight of those young girls.

بس اشتقلوا بركض بتفرّج عليه

“بحس حالي عم اتفرّج على حلم حلو كتير وبس اشتقلوا بركض على الغرفة وبتفرّج عليه”، هكذا كانت أسمى ردات الفعل التي سمعتها تنطق من شفاه فتاة صغيرة وهي لا تتعدى سنواتها السبع هناك حيث التقينا في دار الرجاء في الكحالة.

بالعودة إلى البداية، حيث انطلقت رحلتنا في “أي ليف آرت” نحو دار الرجاء في الكحالة قبل بضعة أسابيع عندما قررنا تقديم عيدية شهر رمضان الكريم إلى الأطفال في مهجع الفتيان. طبعنا نقاء الشمس وهي تدرّ علينا آخر نفحات الصيف عند الغسق تاركة خلفها لوحة سرمدية صفراء وبرتقالية اللون وهي تحتضن فتى يقرأ في كتابه فوق هضبة هانئة.

يومئذن؛ اكتنفت أعين الفتية أحلام شبابية ورؤيا مستقبل ملوؤه النجاح والأمل. تعلّموا معنا دمج الألوان وأبدعوا في تقديم توليفات خاصة بهم على ورق وحملوها إلى أسرّتهم هدية منهم لأنفسهم.

كان شعرونا مغموراً بالسعادة أكثر من أي عملٍ آخر؛ إذ أن هدية العيد تلك بالنسبة إلينا كانت أرقى من أي عمل آخر يمكن أن نقدّمه لهؤلاء الفتية. لم تحتج الرحلة إلى بيت الرجاء تحفيزاً كبيراً لنعاود الكرّة؛ غير أن الزيارة هذه المرة استهدفت مهجع الفتيات.

اخترنا هذه المرة عالماً من التألق والنجوم حيث تندمج الأحلام مع الأمنيات ويزرع الأمل بريق الحياة في أعين الجميع. كنا نشكّل مع الفتيات قفير نحلٍ متكامل من مختلف الأعمار. فتيات تختصر رونق التنميق بالريشة وأخريات تتعلّمن تقنيات استخدام الإسفنج في الرسم؛ في حين تجمهر الباقين؛ من فتية وفتيات، حولنا محاولين اكتشاف اللوحة التي سنهديها للفتيات هذه المرة.

متعة النشاط انشطرت إلى روح متنقلة بين الجميع في تحدًّ عمن يمتلك في طابقه اللوحة الأجمل. لكنهم جميعاً تشاركوا في غمرة الفرح وعدم معرفة كيفية تفسير هذا الشعور بالكلمات. ربما اكتفيت من براءة تعبير “هدى” وعفوية فتاة أخرى اضطرت للمغادرة؛ إلا أنها لم تخجل من معانقتنا جميعاً فرداً فرداً وكأنها تعبّر بجسدها الطفولي عن امتنانها وبهجتها.

سكب دار الرجاء من ذخره في قلوبنا وجمعنا مع الأطفال على مؤائد الغداء أيضاً قبل أن نستودعهم في زيارتنا الثانية تاركين لهم فتاة تحمل بالوناً وتهيم برشاقة في سماء قمرٍ بلوريٍ يقطر ماساً وأحلاماً.

لقد كان هذا العمل فعلاً حلماً عندما نشتاق إليه نركض إلى ذكريات اللوحة ونستمتع مع بهجة الفتيات بنا من جديد.

Towards Colorful Safer Spaces – Lebanon

It was working in a prison that drove Solange Al-Heybe “to give life to the walls surrounding those dark spaces” of confinement. “I was always inspired to bring colors into those people’s lives, as a healthy, comfortable way to reach a positive, hopeful vision,” the psychologist and founder of “I Leaf Art” says.

After “giving life” to several walls at Roumieh Prison and Palestinian camps, Heybe took on an UNRWA school at Bourj Barajneh, where “I Leaf Art” was born in November 2012. As its mission statement tenderly declares, it is a “Group of Artists targeting Rigid Dark Spaces; Turning them into Safe, Dreamy ones.”

“What’s most fulfilling is the reaction of the children involved, their amazement and trust,” Heybe explains. Current projects include an elderly Palestinian couple’s home and more UNRWA and public schools. While some of these are supported by the non-profit Sharing is Caring and the Norwegian Refugee Council, Heybe says lack of NGO registration and lack of funding remain challenges. But, she insists, “once we start we can’t stop.”

Dust away with Art

Do you have a lot of “dust” in your life?
Art might be a good feather duster.

I Leaf Art members believe in using the power of art and creativity to improve emotional and mental health. As I Leaf Art team continued to schedule their weekly meetings in order to spread the magical spirit of art among those who need it, they were getting attached more and more to art and misplaced children, that’s why this time, their goal was much bigger and their task was much heavier.

I Leaf Art's target this time was very special, unique and important. 

Home of Hope, the home of many children who have been through hard and sometimes terrorizing situations, children with a lot of dust in their early young lives. But what can color our lives better than art? As always I Leaf Art members devoted their effort and time, along with the spirits of Ramadan this time, to spread colors and smiles.

Saturday, July 27th was the peak of the team’s group work and cooperation. The moment the team arrived to Home of Hope, children smiles were hard to neglect and their enthusiasm wanted us to give them the best of the best. Every child took a brush and volunteered to help us finish our drawing, they all waited their turns impatiently, and along with the team members cooperation, the result was a magical piece of art, maximum inspiration, and never ending magical thoughts. 

As much as the children thanked us for coloring their space and spirit, I Leaf Art wanted to thank these children for giving them the opportunity to enlighten their minds and souls about other people, and how every person can make a true difference even by only a brush.

بذور الفرح

لقد كانت رغبة زرع الفرح في بذور "آي ليف أرت" هي هدية العيد إلى مئتي طفل وطفلة من اللاجئين السوريين. كنا نجلس قبالة البحر عند المغيب في أحد الأيام الرمضانية نعد الخطط لمشاريعنا المستقبلية.

كانت الألوان تلعب في أرواحنا ونحن نتشاور عن إمكانية إعدادنا لنشاط مع هذا العدد من الأطفال ونحن لا نتخطى تسعة أفراد فقط. انطلقنا من شعارنا في نشر المساحات الآمنة والملوّنة واشركنا عناصر الفنون في تشكيل الإبتسامات واللحظات الإبداعية لهؤلاء الأطفال.

حملنا عدّتنا توجهنا إلى مركز مؤسسة عامل في حارة حريك بعد ظهر الخميس الواقع في 25 تموز 2013 حيث كان الأطفال بانتظارنا الى جانب فريق مؤسسة عامل الذي جهّز لنا القاعات والمواد التي نحتاجها. اتفقنا على خلق خمس محطات تمرّ خلالها مجموعات صغيرة على التوالي.

هناك في أحد الصفوف جعلنا من الصحون البلاستيكية مأوى للألوان في حين جلست أكواب الفلين في تعطّش لارتداء اشكال مختلفة من ابداعات الأطفال قبل أن يحملوها معهم إلى غرفة الزراعة. أردنا أن ندمج فكرة الزراعة المجازية التي تقوم عليها "اي ليف آرت" في ترك تذكار حسّي متواضع مع كل طفلٍ بعد مغادرته المركز. هناك استقرت أكياس التربة في انتظار توزيعها داخل الأكواب الملوّنة التي حملت في معظمها اسماء الأطفال الذين زيّنوها.

 جسّد الممر بين القاعات محطة متميزة تركها فريق "أي ليف أرت" هدية للمركز حيث كانت المجموعات تتوقف لتتعلّم شيئاً عن الرسم ومزج الألوان وترك بصماتهم الفنية على أغصان شجرة رمضانية كما يرونها. بعض الأطفال شاركوا وحملوا ريشة الرسم توالياً والبعض الأخر اكتفى بالاستفسار والتعبير عن فرحته في مراقبة أعضاء من فريقن وهم برسمون جدارية حية أمامهم. لا يصعب عليك الالتحاق بركب الأطفال في غرفتي التعبير الحركي والموسيقى حيث كانت هي المساحات الحرّة التي أردناها ان تكون محطات التشكيل الحسّي والجسدي في اللعب مع الأطفال وتعليمهم بعض الألعاب والتنشيط. 

أكثر من ثلاث ساعات متواصلة مرت كالدقائق قبل أن يعلن آذان المغرب موعد الإفطار. خلت القاعات من الجميع الذين تجمّعوا سوياً على سطح مبنى مؤسسة عامل. وهناك إكتملت رحلتنا الرمضانية وودّعنا تلك الوجوه البريئة والباسمة ونحن نغادر بعد تقديمنا هدية شهر رمضان الفضيل لأولئك الأطفال.

كانت البداية عندما أرادت رولا أن تزيّن غرفة صفّها في مدرسة تابعة للأنروا في مخيّم برج البراجنة؛ لتصبح مناسبة ومريحة للتلاميذ، فاتصلت بصديقتها سولانج، المتخصّصة بعلم النفس والفنّ، والتّي لها اهتمام شخصي وخبرة في هذا المجال، فقد عملت سولانج في سجن رومية ومخيّم ضبيّة،في تأهيل الجدران، عبر تزيينها وبالغرافيتي أيضاً. “I Leaf Art” هي مبادرة شبابيّة، إختارت أوراق الشجر كهويّة لها، لكونها تدلّ على التغيير،بالإضافة إلى حسيّة الطبيعة، لها رسالة سامية وأساسيّة وهي إضاءة الأماكن المعتمة، وحياة في محل موت، وكبت للحريّة والمشاعر وفي محاولة على قدر الإمكان جعل هذه الأماكن آمنة للأطفال كالمخيّمات الفلسطينيّة والمدارس الرسميّة القديمة الّتي تحتاج إلى تأهيل والسجون والمياتم المدارس الداخليّة والمراكز الّتي تعنى بالأطفال الّذين عانوا من مشاكل عائليّة، ونفسيّة أو حتّى جسديّة، لرسم البسمة على وجوه الأطفال والكبار حتّى والتخلّص من الطاقة السلبيّة الّتي تسود هذه الأماكن بسبب الألوان الغامقة والأجواء والظروف الحزينة التي تعاني منها هذه الأماكن. فهم يرون في الألوان سحر الحياة. في تشرين الثاني 2012 كان أوّل إجتماع لهم، وفي كانون الأوّل كان أوّل مشروع. الملفت والجميل في “I Leaf Art” هو أنّ أعضاء المبادرة هم من مختلف الطوائف والجنسيّات، بالإضافة إلى وجود التنوّع من بين فلسطيني ولبناني وأجنبي، وتعدّد الإختصاصات والمواهب.. والّتي تمّ إستثمارها في أعمالهم الفنّية. تتراوح أعمارهم بين ال19 وال30 عاماً.. البعض إنضمّوا للمجموعة عن طريق الفايسبوك. أعضاء المبادرة هم : سولانج متخصّصة في علم النفس والعلاج بالفنّ، رولا هي منسّقة نشاطات تعبيريّة وتعلّم اللغة الإنكليزيّة، إيلي درس الإخراج، ويليام يشتغل بالطباعة وله هواية الغرافيتي، إيلي فنّان تشكيلي وفنّان غرافيتي، ميشال هو فنّان تشكيلي ويتخصّص في نفس الوقت في الفيزياء، دينا هي أيضاً فنّانة تشكيليّة ومعلّمة للغة العربيّة، صفاء لها إهتمام كبير بكلّ ما يتعلّق بالفنّ، أليسار مختصّة بالنقد الفنّي، مايا تختص بالعلاقات العامّة، مريم إختصاص إخراج، إيلين فنّانة تشكيليّة سويديّة، فيكتور وإليسار متطوّعين نروجيّين فنّ تشكيلي، سيمون  فنّان تشكيلي، ماري جو فنّانة تشكيليّة وإيلي ثالث في كشّافة لبنان ويعمل في مجال الميديا. يجمع الأعضاء الحس التفاؤلي في شخصيّاتهم، فعندما سألتهم عن العوائق الّتي من الممكن أن يكونوا قد تعرّضوا إليها خلال مسيرتهم الإبداعيّة، أجابوني بكلّ بساطة: " ولا مرّة كان في عائق، حتّى المصاري ما عائق، دائماً في حلول بديلة، ممكن ندفع من جيبتنا أو نوخذ تبرّعات من الأطفال؛ 500 ليرة، حتّى المسافات والطقس مش عائق عنّا، رحنا ع صور." كما وأكّدوا على التنظيم في أعمالهم، والتنسيق بين المبادرة وأشغالهم الحياتيّة، بالإضافة إلى الإجتماعات الأسبوعيّة فيما بينهم للتحضير للمشاريع القادمة... طامحين في أن تصبح هذه المبادرة مؤسسة قادرة على نشر المزيد من سحر أوراق الشجر في كلّ مكان يحلّون به.

The Magic of Colors

Based on our belief that art can turn ruined and fading places into dreamy, magical ones; nevertheless, art majorly can help those who are living in crucial situations and turn their frowns into smiles. We’ve gathered ourselves: artists, students, workers and amateurs from different and diverse backgrounds. We saved our full energy, ambition and time to come, join and help those who need a sparkle to keep on going.

Art was our own magical wand.

Every color resembles something. Brown and Grey for example show a new change. Those were signs we captured from Al Quds and Al Bireh Schools located at Burj al Barajneh, Beirut Southern Suburbs. And as if those walls were waiting for a big change to happen. I Leaf Art took the stand to give the students this opportunity, thus and for the third time in 7 months I Leaf Art team grabbed their paint and brushes and head it there.

Our first target was Al Quds School. On Saturday, July 8^th, first step was to tell the kids what was our objective, so that they would get engaged spreading art in their own school. “I have never seen anything more beautiful than the spirit those kids had, the effort and ambition they used to enlighten their surroundings with.” The way they were looking at the walls at the final touch was so full of hope and faith toward better and brighter future.

On Tuesday July, 11^th, it was time to give hope for more students. This time I Leaf Art’s ambitious team went to Al Bireh School, the moment the team stepped into the school and kids came rushing to show their support with enthusiasm. They voluntary divided the work upon themselves and got ready for the art rush. 

By the time when the three classrooms were done, the kids were amazed by the result and overwhelmed by the fact that most of them are talented enough to have helped us redecorating their own classrooms.

At the end, the purpose of life is to grow and share. And we, I Leaf Art team are positively sure that when we come to look back on all that we have done until today and remember the effect we left deep down those children’s hearts, we feel more rewarded than ever.

“I Leaf Art” youth group organized between the end of April and the beginning of May 2013 a technical workshop for the implementation of murals paintings at both Amel Association International Center located in Haret Hreik and the International Catholic Organization in Shatila Palestinian refugee camp.

The workshop was carried out at Amel Association on Saturday April 20^th, within two phases: a first phase when the crew removed impurities on walls to leave the surface smooth and clean, and a second coating the walls. When the painting process ended, drawings were carried out representing giant flowers swaying to the right and the left, denoting love and beauty together and reflecting the importance of harmony and fun that can friendship bring with the features of childhood in terms of clarity, purity, honesty and simplicity. The name “Amel” was also painted in an artistic way through the adoption of the graphitic order to promote positive relations between the young visitors and the beneficiaries of the services on one hand, and the association itself on the other. 

Moreover, the same group carried out a workshop at the center of the International Catholic Organization - Shatila camp on Saturday May 4^th, in support of the “Teach For Syria” project, relying on a set of ideas aiming at improving teaching and learning together to replace the images of war and displacement imprinted in the minds of children with positive images since children are the most vulnerable to crises through several techniques. Circular shapes overshadowed most walls where the sun brokered one of them in the form of a glowing ball to indicate the energy, vitality and warmth, change and move from one place to another, but this time in pursuit of a new life. The rest of divergent circular shapes showed the emotional status of children and emerging nature of their vision of the surroundings in which they live. These circles represent close people and emotional bonds between them and others, especially people they love such as parents, relatives and childhood friends, and that in an effort to support them and help them to overcome the fear inside.

It is worth mentioning the participation of about 10 children aged 9 years and above in this initiative, in an effort to highlight the importance of the Organization’s activities, its objectives and its role in disciplining children’s psychic characterized by an artistic sense, thus granting them the skill of dealing with things and the surroundings in particular, and aiming at supporting, serving and defending the rights of refugees and forcibly displaced people.

Finally, I Leaf Art seeks through undertaken activities and initiatives to leave positive impact on the mood and behavior, health and way of thinking of individuals belonging to different affiliation, nationalities and backgrounds, and stir up emotions of comfort and reassurance and to get away from stress and turmoil.

أقامت المجموعة الشبابيّة (آي ليف آرت) نشاطاً فنياً تم خلاله تنفيذ رسومات على الجدران في موقعين الأوّل في مركز مؤسسة عامل الدوليّة – حارة حريك والثاني في مركز المنظمة الكاثوليكية الدوليّة – مخيم شاتيلا الفلسطيني وذلك في نهايّة نيسان الماضي ومطلع أيّار الحالي 2013.

نُفّذ النشاط في مركز مؤسسة عامل يوم السبت 20 نيسان على مرحلتين؛ حيث تم إزالة الغبار والشوائب أولاً لترك السطح ناعماً ونظيفاً ثمّ طلي الجدران. وبعد إنهاء عمليّة الدهان الداخلية للغرف كانت الرسومات التى حملت لغة الورود العالميّة حيث تمايلت إلى اليمين واليسار لتعني الحب والجمال معاً وتعبّر عن أهميّة التناغم والمرح الذي يجمع الأصدقاء إلى جانب ملامح الطفولة لناحيّة الصفاء والنقاوة والصدق والبساطة.

 أيضاً تمّ رسم كلمة "عامل" بطريقة فنية بإعتماد الشكل المكتوب للغرافيتي حرصاً على تعزيز العلاقات الإيجابيّة بين الأطفال روّاد المركز والمستفيدين من خدماته من ناحيّة، والمؤسسة نفسها من ناحية أخرى.

مركز المنظمة الكاثوليكية الدولية – مخيم شاتيلا 

بالمقابل، نفّذت المجموعة نفسها الجزء الثاني من النشاط في مركز المنظمة الكاثوليكية الدولية – مخيم شاتيلا ظهر الشبت 4 أيار دعماً لمشروع {Teach For Syria} الذي يعتمد على مجموعة أفكار تهدف إلى الإرتقاء بالتعليم والتعلّم معاً لإستبدال صور الحرب والنزوح والتهجير التي إنطبعت في أذهان الأطفال بصور إيجابيّة كونهم الأكثر عرضةّ للتأثر بالأزمات عند حدوثها من خلال تقنيات عدّة. طغت الأشكال الدائرية على معظم الجدران محور النشاط حيث توسطت الشمس أحدها على شكل كرة متوهّجة لتشير إلى الطاقة والحيويّة الدفء والتغيير والتنقل من مكان لآخر لكن هذه المرّة سعياً وراء الجديد. 

 أما باقي الدوائرالمتباعدة دلّت على الحالة العاطفيّة للاطفال والناشئة وطبيعة رؤيتهم للمحيط الذي يعيشون فيه. فالدوائر تعني لهم الأشخاص المقربين والروابط العاطفية بينهم وبين الآخرين خاصّةً الأشخاص الذين يحبونهم كالوالدين والأقارب وأصدقاء الطفولة الأمر الذي يشكل دعماً لهم ويساعدهم على تخطي الخوف الذي بداخلهم.

والجدير بالذكر مشاركة حوالي 10 أطفال تتراوح أعمارهم من 9 سنوات وما فوق في هذه المبادرة وفي ذلك فرصة إضافيّة لإلقاء الضوء على أهميّة نشاطات المنّظمة وأهدافها ودورها في تهذيب نفسيّة الأطفال التي تتميز بشعور فنّي عال مما يكسبهم مهارة في التعامل مع الأشياء والمحيط لا سيما انها تهدف الى دعم وخدمة والدفاع عن حقوق اللاجئين والنازحين قسراً.

أخيراً، تسعى (آي ليف آرت) دوماً من خلال الأنشطة والمبادرات التي تقوم بها بالتأثير الإيجابي على مزاج وسلوكيات وصحة وطريقة التفكير العائدة للأفراد بإختلاف إنتماءاتهم وجنسياتهم وخلفياتهم، وإحداث أحاسيس ينتج عنها إهتزازات تحمل سمات الراحة والاطمئنان والإبتعاد عن الإرهاق والاضطراب.
